Hoo, alrighty... So this is gonna be a bit difficult but for the past two months, I've been slowly in the process of moving to a new account here on dA. The Reader's Digest version of this story is that... Well honestly, I'm no longer interested in my old fandoms (MLP, AATC, furry-anything, etc) and frankly I need a fresh start somewhere where I'm not just known for that, you know? Now before anyone freaks out, no, I'm not deleting this account. It's just going to remain a graveyard for my old work so those who I've done art for don't have to worry about losing anything. Besides, old memories, y'know?

Now, with that being said, I HIGHLY encourage anyone who feels up to it to come watch me on my new page opalescent-tides ! It's going to be filled with mostly original/personal art buuuuut I know fanart is going to wind up trickling in, one way or another. However, there will not be- let me repeat, there will ABSOLUTELY BE NO PONIES. PERIOD. I'm frankly bored with that fandom and though I do love my Blushie, I have no desire to do anything MLP related anymore. So, if that's what you're currently watching me for and only for, then I wouldn't recommend checking out the new stuff, heh. Otherwise, come on over! I can't guarantee I'll be the most active person in the world there, considering I'm now a *ahem* manager at Sephora, but in my spare time I'll do my best to flood you guys with new art! 

Welp, I suppose that's it, then! I'm gonna miss this account but it's not going anywhere and I'm looking forward to making a new start! Wish me luck! <3

So heh, hey all.

Holy hell, it's been over a year since my last journal. Yikes. ^^;
Well uhm, I thought I'd give you all an update on things as well as a better source as to where to find me seeing as how dA isnt a top priority as of late. I've just been super busy with work -heyo guess who's a makeup artist now??-, friends, keeping my apartment life running smoothly, family, etc and honestly, the only place I seem to visit anymore is tumblr or facebook. I know I know, I'm a traitor but can you blame me? Either way, I'll try and post art or at least doodles more frequently -i.e: the lovely doodle dump I posted a few minutes ago- buuuut don't count on it being constant. If you'd like to keep up with me and my life happenings, you can always mosey on over to my little corner of the tumblrverse: opalescent-tides.tumblr.com and see what this "cool" kid -and I use that term loosely- is up to. Otherwise, thaaaat's pretty much it. I know, I'm boring -butI'mlessboringontumblr*cough*.

Oooooh no, Bow, it changes so often ;A; Umm, currently it has to be Daughters of Darkness by Halestorm. :heart:

Lindt Sea Salt Dark Chocolate. Holy mothershagging eff that stuff is like crack to me! *salivates*

3. What was your favorite childhood show?
Ugh I had too many! The Little Mermaid (the actual tv show), Dragon Tales, Clifford, Hey Arnold, etc.

4. When did you first start drawing?
Honestly, as soon as I learned you could pick up a pencil and make things appear with it. I went from awful scribbles to slightly deformed alien princesses -I forgot there was a separation between the head and neck so everyone's heads looked like ET-, to weeaboo trash, to whatever they are now. ;3;

5. Who's your favorite superhero?
WONDER WOMAN OuO And also Thor, Black Widow, Iron Man, basically the entire Avengers team oops.

6. And supervillain?
Catwoman definitely and then as extra, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, aaaand... Okay the Joker kind of amuses me too tbh. ^^

7. What was your childhood dream job? Is it still the same?
Well it started off as a vet, then famous singer, then fashion designer during my teens and now my absolute official dream job is to be a makeup artist. Sooo nope, definitely not the same, lol.

8. Do you wear your favorite color?
I try to but I don't have enough purple in my wardrobe tbh. Buuuut when I get a new job, that'll probably change in an instant. :)

9. What do you think your spirit animal is?
Honestly? I think some kind of horse. I've always had these little subconscious thoughts of a white and brown paint horse with black hair when I'm drifting off to sleep, so maybe that's it?

K, I lied on my dA ID and I'm gonna make this journal now, despite it being nearly 5:00am. *ahem* Well hello there, my long time babes! God it's actually been nearly a year since I last made a journal here. How lame am I? I blame tumblr and just a general disinterest in dA for it all. Anywho, I think it's time for a good, honest, actually-going-to-happen-this-time-I-swear-to-the-gods-of-Starbucks, revamp of the place- well, my corner of it, that is. But before we get into that, let me just ramble on for a paragraph about my life so far since I feel like being a narcissistic bitch and all.
Things have been going pretty great as of late. I moved out of Cowboy Hell -aka Wyoming- and now live in the most gorgeous tourist trap in Northern Idaho. Though I'm still currently looking for a job, I'm pretty much settled in and loving things so far. Also, I'm no longer on Team Blondie and have joined the dark side, a.k.a the Gingers. Call it my need to unleash my inner mermaid. Other than that, it's just been a lot of exploring the great outdoors, getting immersed in games -Specifically Skyrim-, abusing tumblr, and just enjoying my time. ^^
Alright, now as far as my dA gallery and page goes, there's going to be some definite changes going on. First of all -and sorry to the MLP fans who've just joined me- I'm done entirely with the pony biz. Just done. Nope. No more unless they're humanized and I'm actually in the mood to draw their 2 legged selves. That's a fandom I'm not too proud of anymore -the cloppers and whiny dudebros ruined it for myself and a lot of others- and want to distance myself from. So, on that note, all of my pony/Blushie art that isn't humanized is going into scraps along with my other old work that I'm not really impressed with, anymore. I was going to delete the pieces all together, but I figured that wouldn't be fair to my previous commissioners, adoptable owners, etc.
Instead, expect a lot of pinups, fashion-related work, other fanart -for example Marvel, SPN, Doctor Who, mermaids, yadda yadda-, etc. I can't really categorize all that's going to be in here since I'll just post whatever I fancy to draw and want to share with you guys. It could be anything, really.
I'm also still not taking any commissions and requests will always be a royal "HELL NO" due to lack of time/motivation and past instances. Trades, however are a definite possibility. :D We'll just have to see.

Anywho, that about sums it all up for now. Hopefully those of you who are still alive here won't give on me and can maybe stick around for the ride. I understand if you don't but I'd love it if you do! Till next time, loves. :heart:

Would anyone be opposed to me posting sketch dumps at all? It's just, lately I haven't really had enough time or energy to create perfectly lined & colored pieces, but rather messy quick sketches with some monochrome airbrushing underneath. Personally, I really like the style, but I was wondering if anyone would mind? I know it's my gallery, but I'm just curious. ^^ Let me know!
